Intentional Peer Support- Core

With a focus on empathy, connection, and growth, this 40-hour program equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide invaluable support and guidance and also qualify for licensure as a Peer Support Specialist under the Traditional Health Worker commission.

In addition to offering trainings for Peer Support Specialists in Adult Mental health, FolkTime has been approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to train Peer Support Specialists in Adult Addiction. ***OHA-approved addiction trainings like ours can qualify you to apply through MHACBO to become a Certified Recovery Mentor.***

Intentional Peer Support Overview

(4 & 8 Hours)

Are you eager to explore the transformative potential of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and peer support? Look no further than our comprehensive IPS Overview. Tailored to cater to individuals, organizations, and departments seeking to understand the profound impact of IPS, this concise training is the perfect starting point for your journey.  Our IPS Overview offers valuable insights that will leave you inspired.

As a nonprofit, 100% of training income goes towards developing peer programs and the peer workforce.

Designed for individuals who are 55 years old or older. Folktime is able to offer a scholarship to qualified participants who live or work in Washington county.

Queer Intentional Peer Support- Core

Designed for individuals who are at the intersection of queer/trans identities and peer support, QIPS Training offers Intentional Peer Support through an LGBTQIA+ lens. This program is tailored to explore the unique challenges and experiences within these communities, enhancing understanding and advocacy skills.
